Reflections: Dogs without Fear of Dying
My first solo record, recorded in Chicago with Jason Ward. Songs were written in Austin, Texas 2005 during a time when many of my friends were playing in living rooms and at various art galleries trading songs. I wrote some of this record with David Bryant, an artist in Austin, Texas. The record was released after my time in London while I was living in New York. We celebrated by playing the record live at Union Pool. I was accompanied my Michael Foss (then of Vietnam), Brad Banks, Danica Newel, David Nolen, Sonia Gonzalez and Quinn Christie. This record was released by Jim Ward (then of Sparta now Sleepercar).

Minetta: s/t EP

2008

with Teressa Brake, Peter Kerlin, Danica Newell, David Nolen

Totally self-produced, the Minetta E.P. was made before our outing to SXSW 2008 for a triumphant bout of 8 shows in three days. This is a more electric follow up to a set of recordings we made as an acoustic group. Conrad Keely (Trail of Dead) supplied viola and Nawi Avila (Source of Yellow) provided flute and Saxophones.

Minetta has played throughout Brooklyn and New York City, with the likes of The Black, Lights, Avarus, Random Cutting, My Education, and Chris Forsyth. All songs were co-written. The Minetta continues on playing in Brooklyn.

Human Hand Animal Band
Recorded with Jason Ward. This was our final record after almost six years of playing together. It was one of the more challenging recordings we’d attempted, using a wide array of field recordings, effects and instruments. Four of the songs include arrangements by Peter Stopchinski, of the Golden Hornet project and performances by the Tosca String Quartet. The release was celebrated by our final live appearance with The Fall.

ROBL/Pele Split
Recorded with Jason Ward at the infamous Duval house inhabited by Omar Chavez, Kiki Solis and Conrad Keely. We included three songs, one of which was a studio concept supplied by Tim on the piano. Conrad Keely, of Trail of Dead gave a guest appearance on the piano and Leslie Sisson helped with vocals. This split was a personal invitation from Pele whom we’d played with on tour in Milwaukee. Fall on Deaf Ears
Collaboration between Cedric Bixler (mars volta), Sarah Reiser, Laura Beard and I. Beard, Reiser and I were no older than 16 when we recorded this album. We hand made a version of this recording on cassette tapes to pass out at shows. Sarah and Laura died in a tragic car accident in 1997. I released this CD in 2003 with the help of Ben Dickey of Post Parlo records to make sure more people heard what amazing talents Sarah and Laura possessed.
